Four suites and a lot of water: each has its own plunge pool or hot tub, an indulgence almost nothing else in Kafue offers at this size. Two activities a day are in the rate, drawn from game drives, river trips, walking safaris and a wetland bird hide, and the camp sits between the Kafue River and a natural wetland in the central sector.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Kafue National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

The full fee schedule for Kafue National ParkRates
From $640 pppn. International rates for 2026 run in three bands: $640 per person per night in green season (March, November and December), $760 in shoulder (April and May) and $1,110 in high season (June to October). For 2027 those become $760, $910 and $1,340. Children 14 to 17 sharing pay less in every band, and the single supplement is 25 percent in all seasons. SADC and resident rates are 20 percent lower, Zambian citizen rates 30 percent lower. The rate covers meals, game drive snacks, house wines, local beers, selected spirits and soft drinks, plus two activities a day, and Zambian VAT, the 10 percent service fee and the 1.5 percent tourism levy are already inside it. On top come the Kafue park fee, the bed levy, the boating levy for river trips and the community upliftment levy, flights and departure taxes, gratuities, premium spirits and champagne. Indicative 2026 rates from operators' own rate cards and published tariffs, gathered July 2026. Many Kafue camps quote on enquiry only. Watch two things when comparing: whether park fees are included (Mayukuyuku and Konkamoya include them, most others do not), and conservation levies of $30 to $40 a night at some camps. A caution on older guides: Lufupa River Camp, Lufupa Tented Camp, Leopard Lodge and Puku Pan all appear closed or dormant, Mukambi Plains Camp is simply the old name of Busanga Plains Camp, and the Jeffery & McKeith brand merged into Classic Zambia Safaris. We list none of them as live options.
